Manfrotto XPRO MHXPRO-3W three-way tripod head

When to choose it
If you keep a camera pointed at the same tabletop while refining framing, the XPRO three-way head gives each direction its own control. Set the portrait angle and the front tilt separately, then use the base pan to shift the composition without releasing the other axes. Friction adjustment is available on the tilt and portrait movements.
The retractable levers are useful if the head stays on a tripod that travels in a bag. The included plate is the 200PL-14. Compare it with the plate already on the camera before buying a spare. If small geared increments are essential, compare a geared head before committing to this direct-control design.

Fit and buying advice
The head fits a support with a compatible flat 3/8-inch attachment. Current Manfrotto documentation and the retailer's specification use different load figures. Match the guidance supplied with your unit to the assembled rig.
Care Retract the levers for transport. Open them before framing so you can reach each control without twisting the camera.

Questions about this accessory
Does this use geared knobs for fine movement?
The MHXPRO-3W uses direct controls. Manfrotto sells an XPRO geared model under a different reference.
Which movements have adjustable friction?
Manfrotto specifies friction controls for the tilt and portrait axes. Check how much resistance you need before unlocking either axis.
Can I keep a plate on a second camera?
A second compatible 200PL-14 plate can stay on the other camera. Verify its camera screw and plate code separately.
