Manfrotto 410 Junior geared head with 410PL plate

When to choose it
The 410 is useful for a camera that needs precise framing, such as a tabletop or building detail. Release an axis to move to the rough angle, then turn the gear knob to set the final position. Check the working clearance around each knob with your camera mounted.
The included 410PL is an RC4-style plate. If you already have an RC2 plate, plan for the new receiver rather than relying on the camera screw size. The 410PL system offers 1/4- and 3/8-inch screw options for the camera attachment.

Fit and buying advice
Match the tripod attachment and the head's plate separately. RC4 and RC2 are different receiving systems.
Care Support the camera when disengaging an axis for a larger movement. Use the geared controls after returning the axis to its fine adjustment mode.

Questions about this accessory

The 410 offers a release for large moves and a geared control for the final correction.
What if I need a spare for a second camera?
Choose another plate documented for the receiver and verify which camera screw it needs.
