WIMBERLEY · Arca-type plates and lens feet
Wimberley P-20 Arca-type lens plate

When to choose it
The P-20 screws to a compatible existing lens foot. It gives you a way to put a collared lens into a matching clamp without buying a replacement foot for the collar. This is useful when you share the same telephoto lens between a ball head and a gimbal with documented fit.
Use Wimberley's chart for the complete lens name, including its mount and generation. For example, the chart lists P-20 for the original Canon EF 70–200mm f/2.8 IS but P-10 for the II and III versions. That distinction matters more than the focal range printed on the front of the lens.

Fit and buying advice
Match the lens to the maker's chart and confirm the receiver's clearance for the stop screws. For a Sony FE 100–400mm GM OSS, the chart also lists the AP-610 replacement foot if you prefer to change the foot itself.
Care Check the selected foot and hardware against Wimberley's instructions before mounting the lens. Keep a hand under the lens while opening the clamp.

Questions about this accessory
Does it replace the lens collar or original foot?
It attaches to the existing foot. A model-specific replacement foot is a separate option when you want to remove the original foot.
Does the original EF 70–200mm f/2.8 IS use the same plate as the II?
Wimberley lists P-20 for the original IS and P-10 for the IS II and III. Read the full model label before choosing.
Do the stop screws work in every Arca-type clamp?
The clamp must have the appropriate clearance and retention geometry. Check the specific receiver when you intend to use the stops.
