SmallRig 4349 horizontal-to-vertical mirrorless mount kit

SmallRig 4349 horizontal-to-vertical mirrorless mount kit
Mount shown with a translucent camera silhouette to illustrate fit. Camera and lens are separate.

When to choose it

The 4349 suits someone who delivers both horizontal and vertical frames from the same setup. The mount rotates the supported camera through a 90-degree change around the lens axis, which saves reframing compared with dropping a camera sideways on a standard head.

SmallRig describes different ways to attach a bare camera or a cage. Before ordering, check the exact body's grip clearance, any lens controls and the listed plate restrictions. The seller specifically warns that some aperture and focus controls can be harder to reach in the horizontal position.

Fit and buying advice

Check the model list and clearance with your own lens and cage. The maker's plate compatibility has exclusions, even among parts labeled Arca.

Care Use the supplied tool during setup. Check the grip, screen and lens controls in both orientations before recording.

Questions about this accessory

Is this the same as a fixed L-bracket?

The 4349 rotates the camera assembly around the lens axis. A fixed L-bracket usually changes orientation by moving its other face into the clamp.

Does the example photo include a camera?

The pale camera shows the installed position. This selection is the mounting kit.

What should I check with a manual aperture lens?

Check access to the aperture ring and focus switches in both orientations, particularly when the lens barrel sits close to the bracket.
